so last week I popped over to ireland to spend time with my family .. granted I'm slightly biased but it really is such a beautiful part of the world. throw in no phone signal, a complete lack of wifi and all of a sudden I'm out walking, picking flowers and foraging for blackberries... who am I??
I roped my big sister into taking on the photographer role (for the first time) and despite giggling, catalogue posing and blue steel attempts (..and that was just her) we managed to keep it together long enough to grab these.. hurrah! I hate fussy clothes whilst I'm on holiday so my suitcase usually just consists of striped tees, jeans and shorts.. easy peasy.
my other companion while I was away was this super cute crossbody from nica. as a general rule I'm not one for small bags but I couldn't resist this one and it's absolutely tardis like... no joke. I had my phone, assorted make up, purses, glasses, passport, car keys (..and sweets obviously) in this bad boy every darn day! the little devils have also given me a cheeky discount code for you guys to use online for the next 3 months too.. Burkatron15 ..happy shopping!
I hope you're all having a good bank holiday weekend? I've been working on some secret DIY's for an upcoming feature and lets just say my floor and I have ended up plastered in glitter. ooooops..
I've never been to Ireland but would love to go sometime soon! And it's nice to be away from wifi sometimes isn't it? Looking gorgeous as always, the bag is too cute!
oh you definitely should!! where we stayed is really remote but I used to live in galway when I was a child and I really recommend it as a place to go for a few days- so much better than dublin and it's by the sea too :) xx
thanks zandra! theyre from office- really comfy but the gold is starting to wear off now which is a shame- but they were a bargain so other than that I heart them! :) xx
That bag is so nice as well as the rest of the outfit. I've always wanted to go to Ireland, it looks so beautiful in so many pictures that I have seen. Amy x | A Little Boat Sailing
