new things: cake stand + stationery

my love of stationery has taken a turn to the obsessive so it won't come of much of a surprise that I found myself stocking up in tiger store when I popped to cambridge.. 

I did branch out and buy a few homeware items including this awesomely kitsch cake stand which is now home to some of my jewellery and assorted desk clutter! one of the best things about tiger store is the amazingly low prices, this little beauty was only £5! (it also came in pink and I'm regretting not buying both) 

I grabbed some postcards as I have dozens of empty picture frames at home, I love the mix of bright and graphic prints.

I had to invest in a few notebooks (because you can NEVER have enough) I also nabbed some bakers twine, ribbon and clips.

last but not least I discovered their ceramics! I'm planning to use the mug as a pen holder and these cute monochrome tile coasters are just what I need as my tendency to leave half drunk cups of tea on every available work surface is a special talent.

I'm already itching to go back as they change stock regularly and you can't buy tiger products online (WHY OH WHY!!) this heart breaking revelation aside I'm pretty happy with my new friends.
