what I wore | flowers + lace

every year I'm 100% unprepared for beautiful weather when it arrives.

luckily I had this gorgeous little dress from urban outfitters. it's so light and floaty it's been an absolute saviour when the temperature decided to rocket this week, the ultimate throw on and go outfit, my kind of lazy dressing! I love the lace detail on the low cut back, helping me in my futile efforts to get a tan.. or so I like to tell myself.

I've worn these sandals to death since the minute they landed.. so much so I'm starting to wear the gold off the straps.. yikes. I never realised house of fraser had so many of my favourite footwear brands (office shoes, kg, dune, etc) and oodles of cute sandals but my heart lies in slider territory so I couldn't resist these!

...I adore my pink shopper, best £7 I've spent on a handbag ever! (totally unpractical? maybe, totally fabulous? YUP!) one day I will stop dressing like a 4 year old.. one day.

    Lovely outfit, the dress is so cute and I love the back detailing! There's nothing wrong with dressing like a 4 year old either(dungarees are my best friend!) :)

    Love dresses with floral motives and yours is awesome!

    First sliders I've seen that I actually like, but yours are in the full scale love territory! Hopeless at dressing for summer, especially in the office. Super glad to be making a move towards working from home again.
