I can't believe I've only just discovered pom pom makers- they are AMAZING!!
I've been making some pom pom garlands so I wanted a quick way to make dozens of them, when mine first arrived I wasn't 100% sure how to use them so I've made a quick guide to show anyone who is a newbie to pom pom makers!
pull out the arms on one side.
wrap your wool around until it's well covered (the more times you wrap the thicker your pom pom will be.)
pull out the arms on the opposite side and repeat, trim the wool and tuck in the arms.
take some sharp scissors and cut around the middle as shown above.
now take a separate piece of wool and tie it around the middle- secure with a very tight knot, this keeps your pom pom in place.
pull out the arms, the pom pom will stay in the middle.
then pull the pom pom makers apart to release the pom pom, fluff it up and trim any uneven edges!
they only take a few minutes to make and it's so addictive! I picked up an assorted set of 4 pom pom makers for £2 here on amazon, they took a few weeks to arrive but for that price who can argue?
I've nearly finished my pom pom hanging so I'll share that with you soon! have you ever made pom poms?
back soon

DeleteWhat brand do you use for the ombre colored yarn? I love the color combos of the yarns you used and can't find anything as good.
