nails | negative space nail art

I don't know about you but minimal nails really appeal to me at the moment -especially negative space designs. so simple and quick they're perfect for days on the go when you don't have much time to spare..

all you need to do is cut a small triangle shaped piece of tape (I just used washi tape!) and place it at the base of your nail as shown above.

paint over as normal and remove the tape to reveal the negative shape of bare nail- easy peasy!

I've used models own bermuda blue here if you're curious, I like using bright shades for simple nails.. 

finish off with clear topcoat for a high shine.. all done!
