for those of you who don't know I'm a fully fledged member of team specs.

I've never worn contacts for the simple reason that I actually adore glasses (the bigger and geekier the better in my book!) I wear mine most of the day as I can't drive, watch tv or pretty much recognise my own family members without them aha!

I've been meaning to share these london retro specs with you for a few months now as finding glasses was always a huge struggle for me, I've always found it hard to find quirky frames in high street retailers and I hated sales assistants picking out frames they thought suited me better. I've never ordered glasses online for the simple reason that I'd never consider buying frames without seeing them on. then I found out about the 7 day home trial service at glasses direct and well all my nerdy spec dreams came true.. seriously I was pretty excited.

I picked four of my favourite frames (I used the style finder to narrow it down) and they sent them out for me to try them at home. when I was finished I just popped the box back freepost. if like me you're prone to leaving your glasses on aeroplanes, in taxis or at cinemas a lot of their glasses are 2 for 1 (I joke but this is great for me.)  

I've been beavering away at some new DIY's this week so I'll have something new up soon! one is a shoe storage hack that I think you'll like (especially if you have lots of high heels in your wardrobe..)
