wishlist | a very special something

for someone who spends way too much time figuring out what to buy for other people I never have a clue what I'd like for myself. every year when I'm asked what I'd like for christmas I draw a blank. yup, I suffer from festive gift block.

luckily for me I'm that person who buys gifts for others they'd like for themselves. so I've put together a collection of lovely things from very I'd like to give. (..or as it just so happens receive!!)

I'm nothing if not helpful, so when it comes to gift ideas I like to cover all bases. from smaller stocking fillers (I always need another glitter polish, and well you had me at coconut yankee candle.) to some more ambitious gifting. I guess I'm an optimist at heart and this is my #veryspecialsomething list after all.. 

I find christmas a good time to stock up on the winter wardrobe. treats like these snake boots, suede bag, or miss selfridge fedora are things you could wear time and time again. cosy faux fur is another great gift as it's always in style in the colder months. the olympus pen has been one purchase I've been debating for months (I prefer the black version although I have to say the cream one is pretty damn snazzy.) from the retro design to it's compact size I can just see me popping it into my handbag when I'm out and about as it's way more handy than my big ol' nikon. (santa I've been really good this year so if you can do me this small favour I'd be forever grateful.)
